All work on the website falls under one of two Creative Commons Licenses. There is a different license for the database images and the rest of the site. Images not in the database (the database search pages) are commercial images and cannot be used. The programming code in NOT part of a Creative Commons License and is Copyright Plants For A Future 2019.

Database Images is licensed under a http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/.
The images in the database come from many different sources and it was not possible to add all the different copyright conditions for every image (we have over 7000 plants). We have therefore protected the original copyright holders by using a stricter license than some images need. You may be able to find some of these images with a less strict license on the internet, for example Wikipedia Commons The images on the website are licensed under a Creative Commons License. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/. You are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work under the following conditions: Attribution — You must give the original author credit, Non-Commercial — You may not use this work for commercial purposes, and No Derivative Works — You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work. Information under the images on the database gives original attribution details which must be included when using an image.
