Summary
Physical Characteristics
Fedia cornucopiae is a ANNUAL growing to 0.2 m (0ft 8in).
It is not frost tender. It is in flower in July, and the seeds ripen from August to September. The species is hermaphrodite (has both male and female organs) and is pollinated by Insects.
Suitable for: light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: mildly acid, neutral and basic (mildly alkaline) soils. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil.

Plant Propagation
Seed - sow early spring in a greenhouse. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and plant them out in late spring. If you have sufficient seed, then it can be sown in situ in the middle of spring[1]. In areas that experience few frosts an outdoor sowing in situ in early autumn will produce larger plants[200].
