Thank you for (more) interesting information on this - one of several highly nutritious and edible plants that occurs spontaneously and prolificially in many urban and other gardens/soil spaces. It is almost unconscionable that these plants (\'weeds\') have become so demonised by the western world - driven, perhaps, by agricultural interests, and perhaps also by mere lack of knowledge by others at the more domestic level. This, silverpin (lambsquarters - Chenopodium album) and many others should be accorded the respect that they once commanded in certain places (and in some more savvy parts of the world, still do command) in a world where food supply is problematic; that is concerned about earth pollution, and \'global warming\', etc. Thanks again for your site. j.m.
